covid-19
BASED ON RECOMMENDATIONS from the ADA, CDC, and the State of MN, we’re temporarily changing the way our practice operates. We recommend that all of our patients check the CDC’s website for information on the coronavirus and what we can do to slow the spread.
The Governors Executive Order on March 19thmandated the postponement of non-emergent or elective medical and dental surgery and procedures remains in effect at this time and through the stay-at-home order (until May 4th). The timeline was part of the state Peacetime Emergency Order. As far as we know, this timeline is still in effect in MN. However, the Governor could mandate another order and that is dependent on the behavior of the virus and reproductive rate of the virus within the state. This is a pandemic response and there is no absolute way to know what the future holds.
Temporary Changes to Our Schedule
As of March 30th, we are modifying our hours. We will be available in the office to answer and return phone calls and emails and reschedule appointments Tuesdays & Thursdays. If you have a scheduled appointment, and have a question about whether to keep that appointment, please call or email.
Emergency Treatment
We are here for you! If you have a dental emergency, we want you to know that we are here for you and will continue to provide emergency services by appointment. Our doctors are also available for teledentistry consults. If you are not sure if what you are experiencing is a dental emergency, please call and we will be glad to help. If you would like to reach Dr. Melissa directly, her cell is 612-812-7894. Feel free to text.
Our COVID-19 Precautions for emergency appointments:
1. Please wash your hands or hand sanitize immediately upon entering our office.
2. If you or anyone you have come in contact with in the past 2 weeks has had fever, chills, or any mild flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the office. Call us and we will guide you on what to do.
3. Please limit the number of people you bring with you to your appointment. We’re trying to keep the number of people in our office to a minimum.
We Are Strong When We Work Together
Right now, one of the best ways that we as healthcare professionals can help to slow the spread of coronavirus is to follow the guidance of these health organizations, and we encourage our patients to do the same. We will be sure to update you about additional changes at our practice.
We want you to know we thinking of each and every one of you – whether a team member or patient you are a part of our Tranquility family.
Thank you so much for your patience, support and understanding during this time.
